Our Commitment To Children's Privacy Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. No part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 16 and we do not maintain information about our customer's children beyond that necessary to process insurance transactions.
Consumer Reports Most insurance companies utilize consumer reports in the underwriting and pricing of their products. The use of motor vehicle driving records (MVR's) is common for both personal and business automobile insurance underwriting. Insurance companies also share information with each other about claims and we may obtain your prior claim history for the type of insurance you apply for. Many insurance companies also use business and consumer credit information because insurance companies have found that clients with good credit ratings are better risks. The use of driving records and consumer credit reports is governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
You Authorize Us to Obtain Consumer ReportsBy completing and submitting the on-line applications for insurance on this site, you agree to allow us to obtain consumer reports, including driving records, prior claim history, and credit reports, for the purposes of underwriting and pricing the insurance products you apply for. If you apply with us for an insurance policy and/or surety bond by fax or mail, you are therefore authorizing us or any insurance company, surety, MGA or Insurance Wholesaler we represent to obtain a copy of your consumer report.
When your policy or surety bond comes up for renewal, we may request a copy of the credit report and may share your personal information with other insurance companies, insurance agents or brokers and underwriters to obtain competing quotes and provide you with better coverage or pricing. If you do not want that to happen, you may “opt-out” as described below;
** IMPORTANT PRIVACY CHOICES **
